  • How to shoot Puffy Clouds
    Hello.

    (from my tagboard)
hi CAR! which car are you? lol.give your link or show your picture la so i can recall.

thanks for dropping and look at my photos. hmmm. puffy clouds? eerrrr.

i think firstly i love puffy clouds. and when i walk, i usually look around. so everytime when i saw nice puffy clouds. i shoot. So my clouds shots are mostly impromtu. ill shoot if i see a potential to nice result.

it depends on the day and the clouds also. im not even sure how to explain further. its like ure asking how u take a picture of a superstar. so my reply will be ' ouh, i saw him/her there posing. so i just shoot." same goes, the clouds are there, i just use camera. do the setting that i want n shoot.

    taken with D60
    ~ manual setting ~ ISO 100 ~ shutter 1/50 ~ F/22
i choose 100 iso because i want as less noise. and aperture 22 to make the photo sharp & make the exposure dark. this is taken arnd 2pm when the weather is really hot so the sky is really clear.

im a design student. my ability is to enhance a picture. i edit it in photoshop =)

okey. this might be getting no where.
the next time when u saw nice clouds, depending on the weather, how bright or dark it is,(brighter days are better) make ISO to 100. Aperture around 22. depends on the lighting and surrounding. and play with the shutter speed. try have a subject in the picture rather than taking just clouds. thats another thing u should have at the back of your mind. hierarchy.

i hope you get something from here. if not, ask me what u dont understand or better, show me what uve shoot and we can anaylse why you didnt achieve the same result =D have fun!
