S.L.A.P. Mag launch

Hey,

S.L.A.P.(support local artist project) lauch thier magazine last saturday at youth park.
Prior to the event, there performance from local artist form different genre. some names are paddlePOP, sourgrapes, the 21s and Young.XS.

I think is a great opportunity and energy to help SG music scene take a step higher. but i feel the magazine needs improvement. The visuals and typo error! you guys need designer? or maybe photographer? lol.

haha. okey this is what my clique like to do.
ill take pictures on some event. edit and upload to facebook.
and see the amount of emails notification. (ive deleted some btw)
for a minute or so. the bottom right side of my desktop has an email notification which appears like the rate of a heartbeat. lol.

Last few weeks

Hey,

its the last few weeks of poly life.
yeah man. after 3 years.

we had nafta yesterday. it was fun. wait. it wasnt, we made it fun!lol
we're the only group that shout and cheer for each other.
Everyone was at their weakest. We havent do sports for ages.

After that, we went to wenhao's place and chill by the pool.
and it was just nice tt mings bdae is the day after. Of course the birthday boy will get his chance of fame. check the video here

Path to sucess

Hey,

Im making my way to the finishing line in this poly race.
well, im not the best in class but ive tried with all that i cud to be the best.

relating to this, i heard this RUMOUR -
(a story or statement in general circulation without confirmation or certainty as to facts).
just rumour. so dun take it too seriously
So lets just called it a fiction story.

She, is an art school student. Was never the best and had been taking day offs.
Her art pieces has never been good enough to be among the top students.
so i guess she knows where she stand so she got close to guys to help her here and there for her school project. haha. smart girl huh.

Well, the story doesnt end there. a year later, rumour spread again that she got B for a project.

which others think that if she got a B for that, they all shud get an A or A+. ouh, they said she was always found together with thier lecturer. the one that is in charge of our project score.
Ouh wait. the climax.
She was found with that lecturer at some bar close to midnight recently.
hmmm. a date? coincidence? just going out together?
hothot story.
the old dude was always found helping her with her works.

so how did she get the B? what happen tt nite? is there anything happen between them?

a clue sparks. they said her msn nick was a total give away.

so, how far wud you go to get what you need?

vacant time day

Happy vacant time day.
The four of them single dudes spend 14 feb 09 together.
Each of their heart are rather vacant. but who cares.

We chilled at One fullerton starbux in the afternoon before we decide to settle under a bride near Sg flyer. The area was dark, windy and chill. fit perfectly with our feelings. We take shots before we start freestyling over an emotional beat. Everyone was letting their heart speak. even when we stagger and ran out of words, we'll go sumthin like, "...(stagger).yea, im running out of words, cuz i cant see you in this darkness." go figure la.

We left home at about 10pm.

whats hip hop to you ?

i bet in general. the first thing came to ur mind is baggy jeans. then comes hip hop dance. rappers like jayz,kanye and tpain. babble over intrumental talking bout girls, sex and money.

defination of hiphop differs from people. See just hiphop it self. some say hiphop suppose to be together like "HipHop" not "Hip Hop".and again. hiphop and music are actually 2 different things. He may rap, but he may do it rock rap, or experimental rap. its still rap rite? but is it still hiphop?or its rock music or experimental? and freestylers. do i still call them rappers/emcees or are they poet?

this rapper once commented.
"there is no defination of hip hop. just let them be. you do your music, i do my music."
"music is an art form. being metaphorical is part of being artistic"

and of cuz you are not what you wear. so baggy jeans are not really necessary.

in the end. my rants dont matter. its what u define as hip hop.
